Saturday’s afternoon debate for the ICJ was concerning Nuclear Proliferation. The debate included a lot of interesting tactics and context.
 
Japan went up in the beginning and stated how the launch of China’s nuclear missile is violating an international law/treaty.  China has admitted that the missile does contain some nuclear power. Rights of Women and the Convicted: Part 1

Saturday morning in International Court of Justice (ICJ) the agents presented their information to the Justices of the ICJ.  The morning debate was their first topic: Rights of Those Accused of Crimes (Citizens and Foreign Nationals).  One of the conflicts was  Morocco with Jordan versus Afghanistan. 

Morocco and Jordan are accusing Afghanistan of denying two citizens of their rights in court.  Two women were publicly protesting woman’s rights in Afghanistan.  Then, as reported, two men started throwing rocks at them.  …

China Illegally Testing Nuclear Arms?

On Saturday, the International Court of Justice (ICJ) Auxiliary was reading over the ICJ agent’s memorials.  They also discussed the nuclear arms issue with Japan and South Korea versus China and North Korea, to prepare for their debate later.  
Japan and South Korea are very concerned by the underground and atmospheric testing of North Korea and China.  Korea and China say they have legitimate reasons for the nuclear testing.  China says their testing is for scientific purposes and North Korea …

ICJ Auxillary, Criminal Rights

The International Court of Justice (ICJ) Auxiliary had their debate on Friday about Criminal Rights.  They discussed how different countries have different opinions and why.  There was two separate conflicts:  Italy versus United States of America and Jordan and Morocco versus Afghanistan.  They were working on a resolution or compromise to end those conflicts with those countries.

International Court of Justice: Practice Memorial

The International Court of Justice had two main issues to discuss on Friday: Nuclear Arms and Rights of Those Accused of Crimes.  The countries present were Jordan, Morocco, Italy, Japan, Republic of Korea, Afghanistan, United States of America and the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea.  All of these countries had their agents filling out the applicant and respondent form.  What this means is one or two countries would take up either the applicant or respondent side of the topic.  The …
