In the first EcoSoc Committee 3 meeting they talked about how global warming affects the world in regards to the climate, the food we might potentially eat, and how things can be prevented from getting worse. A few small countries such as Peru, Kenya, Algeria, and Cape Verde were talking about coming together and helping the other countries since they don’t have that many problems with global warming. One of the larger countries that is effected greatly in this is China. They stated that they have a lot of  factories which bring a lot of gas pollution. Current efforts to cut back on global warming include people not using their cars often and reducing the gas that factories emit.
