Learning about your country is a very important part of the Model United Nations. To be a successful Ambassador, you will need to familiarize yourself with the day-to-day details of how your country operates. You will get help from your delegation advisors, and you'll have time before the conferences to prepare yourself.
When doing your research, don't just write down the stats. Really get into your country. Look for them online and in newspapers, and ask yourself theoretical questions that start with, "How would my country feel about _____?"
